Difference between Beside and Besides.
They both are prepositions.
1. Beside means at the side of, next to, close to and near.
Beside ka matlab barabar mein.
Beside ka matlab barabar mein.
Be=Hona
Side=Barabar mein.
Ya'ni, 'Beside' ke sath hona, barabar mein hona.
Side=Barabar mein.
Ya'ni, 'Beside' ke sath hona, barabar mein hona.
Examples:
A. He lives beside the station.
B. Does your friend sit in the class beside you?
C. Have you placed your chair beside him?
D. You can use Beside before the following nouns:

Beside the chair, beside the table, beside him/her, beside the almirah, etc.
* Beside is used for comparison as well.
Mawaznah karne ke liye bhi Beside likh-te hain.

2. Besides means except, apart from or in addition to.
Is ka matlab 'ke elavah ya ke sath' hai.

Mere karobar hai is kaam ke elavah.

* Besides is also an adverb. And it gives the sense of furthermore, also or and another thing.
